1. General terms and conditions of sale
These conditions are agreed between the company Lousãtextil, with address at Zona Industrial dos Matinhos – Pavilhões 6, 7 – 3200-997 – Lousã, with share capital of €100,000, registered under the sole number 502 097 116, by the CRC Coimbra, abbreviated as “Lousãtextil” and any person, provided that they are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and who wishes to make a purchase through the Website www.lousatextil.pt, telephone 239 991 401, post, e-mail, hereinafter abbreviated as “User”.
Orders will be shipped to mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores. If you live outside the delivery areas mentioned above and would like delivery abroad, please contact us.
The parties agree that their relations will be regulated exclusively by the general conditions described herein.
The purpose of these conditions is to define the general conditions of sale between Lousãtextil and the User, from the act of ordering to the various services provided by Lousãtextil, such as payment methods and conditions for delivery of goods.
These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to place the order and guarantee the follow-up of this transaction between the contracting parties.
2. Order
The User may place their order online, on the website www.lousatextil.pt.
To finalize your order, the User must provide personal data, such as their name, address, etc. To do so, the User must fill in all mandatory fields on the order form for this purpose.
By placing an order, the User expresses his/her full and complete acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale, prices and description of the products included in this transaction.
These general terms and conditions of sale will be the only ones applicable between the two parties. Any dispute regarding this last point will be resolved through an exchange of information and with the guarantee mentioned below.
In the event of product unavailability, Lousãtextil undertakes to inform the User and reimburse any amounts paid within a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of becoming aware of such unavailability.

3. Payment methods
– Prices are in euros, with taxes and fees included.
– The prices shown take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order.
3.1 Multibanco Reference
When ordering, select the Multibanco Reference payment method. You will receive an email with the 3 payment details (entity, reference and amount). You can make the payment at Multibanco ATMs or through your Home Banking by selecting the “Service Payments/Purchases” option and entering the details provided. For any changes, you will need to contact lousãtextil.
3.2 Bank Transfer
The order will be dispatched after confirmation of receipt of the amount at our bank. This may take between 3 and 4 business days, depending on the customer's bank. It is very important that you include the order number in the transfer description (not applicable in the case of payment made at ATM terminals). For any changes, it will be necessary to contact lousãtextil.
4. Shipping costs
Shipping costs will be calculated based on the weight of the order and the location to which it will be sent. When ordering online, the total weight and shipping cost will be displayed.
5. Deliveries and Deadlines
Orders can be delivered:
- Home delivery with CTT Expresso – Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you are not at home, CTT Expresso will leave a postal notice for collection within 6 days at a post office. You must present your Identity Card or Citizen Card to collect the order.
- Special Transport (bulky items) Bulky items, due to their size and/or weight, must be delivered via courier or to your home, with shipping costs calculated based on the respective order.
- To any other address. To do this, simply indicate the desired address in the corresponding fields of the online order form.
Delivery time may vary depending on the shipping method selected:
- Home or other address: CTT Expresso – delivery time between 3 to 4 working days (for the Azores and Madeira, contact Lousãtextil).
To track the status of the order, the User can do so directly online in “My Order Status” or call Lousãtextil's Customer Support Service on the following number: +351 239 991 401 from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. (These times are subject to change).
Lousãtextil assumes no responsibility if there is any delay in the delivery of any order by the carrier.
6. Exchanges and refunds
All items can be exchanged or refunded except those that are customized at the customer's request. The exchange or refund request must be made within 15 (fifteen) days after the date of receipt.
In the case of an exchange, if the new order costs more, the User will have to pay the difference, attaching the payment for the remaining amount to the exchange request or making it when collecting the new order.
In the event of a refund request for an item purchased at a reduced price, due to a special offer, Lousãtextil will refund the amount actually paid by the User and not the full amount.
In all cases, all requests for exchange or refund must be made by post to Lousãtextil, Zona Industrial dos Matinhos – Pavilhão 6, 7 – 3200-997 – Lousã, or by email to geral@lousatextil.pt, indicating the item references and the reasons for the return. All items benefit from a contractual guarantee.
In the case of defective products, you must report the same, informing your order number and a description of the defect.
The costs of returning or collecting items within the contractual warranty period will be borne by the customer.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used by the consumer in the initial transaction.
7. Signature and proof
Users who do not have a User number will have to complete a registration process to obtain one. If you are a new User, Lousãtextil services will assign you a User number after your first order.
This number is strictly personal. If you lose or forget this number, you must report it to the User Support Service at geral@lousatextil.pt or 239 991 401.
The online indication of the bank card number and the final validation of the order will constitute proof, in accordance with legal provisions, and will allow the amounts shown on the order receipt to be claimed.
This validation is valid as signature and acceptance of all operations carried out on the Site.
8. Responsibility
For all stages of access to the Website, from the ordering process to delivery or subsequent services, Lousãtextil is only obliged to use its best efforts. Lousãtextil excludes all guarantees and any liability for inconveniences or damages inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular, a service interruption, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or any case of force majeure as classified by the case law of the courts, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The items sold are described and presented on the Website with the greatest possible accuracy. If, despite all our precautions, errors occur on the Website or in Lousãtextil's catalogues, Lousãtextil shall not be held liable for this. Except in the case of a contractual guarantee, any transaction between Lousãtextil and its Users, not contested within a period of 6 months, shall not give rise to any claim.

The name Lousãtextil Newsletter is given to the e-mails, promotional offers, and institutional newsletters, information about the company, sent directly to the User's e-mail inbox. The User has the possibility to subscribe to the Newsletter, being automatically registered from the moment he/she makes his/her first order or his/her first online catalogue request. He/she can access and modify his/her data at any time at “My Account User” and manage your newsletter subscription in “Newsletters”, or you can also use telephone, mail or email to request such changes.
11. Intellectual Property

These conditions apply throughout the duration of the services offered by Lousãtextil. All exclusive articles on the website are valid until the limit of available stocks.
14. Test
Computerized records, kept in the computer systems of the company Lousãtextil under secure conditions, are considered as proof of communications, orders and payments made between the parties.
15. Preservation and archiving of transactions
Orders and invoices will be archived on a reliable and durable medium to ensure a faithful and lasting copy.
16. Applicable law and jurisdiction
The terms and conditions of sale presented are subject to Portuguese law. In the absence of resolution by agreement between the parties, any dispute arising from these General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.
