Description
Hydrangea macrophylla, commonly known as hydrangea, hydrangea or hydrangea, is a shrubby species of the genus Hydrangea, native to Japan and China, but currently cultivated as an ornamental plant in all temperate and subtropical regions. The species, of which there are multiple cultivars, has pink or blue flowers depending on the pH of the soil: in acidic soils the flowers are blue, while in alkaline soils they are pink.
